mini-commander

My brother and I have repackaged (lots of autotools fun..) and re-released the old gnome mini-commander panel applet that was depreciated by deskbar.
It’s pretty basic, it allows you to launch programs, keeps a history and has some preferences. It has a custom macro ability with regex matching. example: typing “google: cow” will launch your browser with http://www.google.com/?q=moo etc. Kind of like shortcuts or aliases.

Why have I done this ?

Simply because I like mini-commander’s convience, simplicity, speed and lack of resource footprint.
There is one bug where the add macro window comes up apparently randomly which I need to look into, but other than that it’s pretty stable.
If anyone wants deb packages I should be able to provide some..
