The best was to get the IP90 working on Linux is Turboprint.  It&#039;s not free but it&#039;s not that expensive and you can download a trial version.  It provides a series of drivers for various inkjets and a printer management gui tool.

Thank you for this.  I have a canon ip90 that used to be compatible with my asus eee pc.  I sent
it off for repair (a new carriage), and now canon does not support linux.  I have a green light to
print, and nothing is happening... I have spent 4 hours trying to install this repaired printer- as
new canon printers are only for Mac and MS systems.
